Compounding World Expo to launch in India in 2025

The Compounding World Expo and Plastics Recycling World Expo are set to debut in India next year. Already established in Europe and America, the exhibitions will take place at the NESCO exhibition centre in Mumbai on 14-15 May 2025. AMI, the UK-based organiser of the

expos and publisher of Compounding World, is partnering with Mumbai- based Polymerupdate to ensure the success of the events in India. Polymerupdate is a provider of information and data for the polymer market and is co-organiser of the RACE plastics recycling conferences in India. The collaboration aims to bring together the expertise and resources of both companies to deliver an excep- tional experience for exhibitors and visitors alike. The partners said the launch comes as the plastics com- pounding and recycling markets in India are seeing rapid growth. “We are thrilled to bring the

Polymerupdate, said: “The Indian economy is expected to grow at an impressive 7% in the coming years, riding on the strength of a series of recent and planned structural reforms. We are currently the fifth largest economy in the world and the country is striving hard to climb to the number three spot. “Amongst the many well placed industry sectors within the Indian economy, plastics is seen as a bright spark and we at Polymerupdate see huge opportunities within the com-

pounding and recycling sectors in particular. This is the perfect time for us to partner with AMI to bring their well-respected expos focused specifi- cally on these markets to India, for the first time.” The Compounding World Expo and

Plastics Recycling World Expo and their associated conferences will take place in Hall 4 at the NESCO centre. The tried and tested venue offers large and flexible spaces in a convenient loca- tion.
