AG TECH SHOW ▶▶▶ Claas and John Deere and 365FarmNet team up

Claas, John Deere and 365FarmNet say they are introducing the first direct, manufactu- rer independent cloud-to-cloud data con- nection. A major step forward that will be welcomed by many farmers and contrac- tors. The solution named ‘DataConnect’ con- nects the cloud solutions for data storage and evaluation from Claas (Claas Telema- tics), John Deere (John Deere Operations Center) and 365FarmNet. Owners of a mixed fleet of tractors, combi- nes, forage harvesters and sprayers, can now choose their preferred cloud/data plat-

Bosch Nevonex platform

Bosch launches a manufacturer-independent, open digital ecosystem that enables the use of digital services directly on agricultural machi- nery. Nevonex as the platform is called, provi- des the technical infrastructure. Suppliers of machinery, resources and services can offer their functions and tools for connecting and automating machinery and work processes. Development partners include Amazone, Lem- ken, Pessl Instruments, Rauch, Syngenta, Top- con, Xarvio and ZG Raiffeisen. Nevonex will first be offered in selected regions in Europe in Spring 2020, followed by North and Latin America.

form from one of the three companies while also being able to transmit data from other machines. The data are still available in JD

Operations Center, Claas Telematics or 365FarmNet, but can be exchanged in real time from one cloud to the other.

Väderstad WideLining App for fertiliser blends

Väderstad has developed a technology for ap- plying tramlines without shutting off individu- al rows. Instead, the system creates a track width of 105cm by automatically shifting the seed rows without shutting them off allowing for wider sprayer or slurry tank wheels. The three rows behind the tractor are shifted hydraulically from 75cm to 60cm.

Finding the optimal spreader settings when spreading blended fertiliser can be quite a challenge and nuisance. Amazone is aiming to help with its new silver medal winning smart- phone app EasyMix. It allows to select multiple fertiliser types, to blend them and to find the most appropriate settings for the blended fertiliser.
