Illumination: Fully illuminated STOP octagon using First Light’s proprietary technology and LED lamps that flash or strobe.


Visibility: Always recognizable as a stop sign, especially in low-light and bad weather. Uses a reflective decal as a backup, not the primary safety feature like all other stop arms.


Efficacy: Independently proven to reduce illegal passings by up to 88% across diverse road and weather conditions. It is the only stop arm selected by NHTSA as an effective approach in decreasing illegal passings of school buses.
