Pro and Non-Pro Reiner Article Series J&J Reining Inc August Show
– a collaboration with the CQHA! The Steel City Slide in August at the Ancaster Fairgrounds
is going to be a wonderful event with amazing equine athletes and their riders! There’s lots at this show including the popular Freestyle event –
our June Freestyle was a real crowd pleaser, Friday August 18th you don’t want to miss it! Saturday night is Derby time with the spotlight on the highest
calibre competitors in both the Open and Non-Pro divisions for their share of the $14,000 added monies. The Derby is sponsored by HR Prospects. This show we’ll also be announcing our Circuit Series Champi-
ons in the Youth, Green Reiner, and Rookie classes, each champion will get a beautiful buckle and the runner’s up a pair of engraved stir- rups.
We have TWO Ranch Riding classes, Friday and Sunday – both
with added money and prizes. And, NEW for our shows is the Working Western Rail class on
Saturday morning, no membership necessary for either the Ranch classes or this class.
Partnership with the CQHA As part of a CQHA/AQHA Marketing Strategy, the Canadian
Quarter Horse Association is adding separate $$ incentive payments, in specific classes, to the riders who are current AQHA members and who are riding registered Quarter Horses in each of the following classes in the Steel City Slide show: J&J Reining Inc (J&JR Inc.) Ranch Riding Open and Non Pro,
$250 per division per class, Friday and Sunday Youth classes $250 added Saturday and Sunday. In addition,
CQHA will pay the Youth’s membership! J&J Reining Inc (J&JR Inc.) Working Western Rail $500 added
