Lake Placid Horse Shows Select Allen Rheinheimer as New Manager Longtime Show Manager, Judge and Course Designer Brings Over 35 Years of Equestrian Experience

Lake Placid, NY, the annual Lake Placid Horse Shows celebrate 55 years of equestrian tradition when they return to the beautiful North Elba Show- grounds, June 25-July 7. Lake Placid offers two weeks of exciting equestrian competition in a set- ting no other horse show can match, surrounded by breathtaking views of the Adirondack Mountains and the chance to enjoy countless activities that help make the Lake Placid Horse Shows, “The Best Two Weeks of a Horseman’s Summer!” Rheinheimer joins LPHS with over 35 years
of experience in equine competition production. He currently oversees more than 18 major eques- trian events each year and has worked with the teams at many prestigious horse shows including the Old Salem Farm Spring Horse Shows, Trader’s Point Hunt Charity Horse Show, the Hampton Classic and Classic Company shows such as the Gulf Coast Winters Classic Series. Rheinheimer has officiated at several more
events as an “R” rated Jumper Judge and course designer, including Devon, the National Horse Show and Pennsylvania National Horse Show. He served as the National Course Designer for the
National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, serving as both the Technical Coordinator and General Man- ager of Production. “Throughout his years in the industry, Allen
has played an integral role in helping many horse shows,” said Philip Richter, Chairman of the Lake Placid Horse Show Association. “His experience managing some of our sport’s biggest events is im- pressive, and we are thrilled to welcome him to our Lake Placid family as we plan to celebrate our 55th anniversary. “We also want to extend our deepest thanks

As is tradi- tion, the USEF Heritage Competition opens on Tues- day, September 24th with one of the largest open- breed shows in the world. DaD's Breed Division is both a USDF Breeders Championship Series Qual- ifier and East Coast Final. Three days of competition feature foals, young horses, and mature breeding stock from all breeds competing for a championship spot in the USDFBCS East Coast Final, as well as our beloved Individual Breed Classes.
