MAPEI LAUNCHES KERAQUICK ULTRAFAST


S1 ADHESIVE Adhesives and building products specialist Mapei is delighted to announce the launch of the new Keraquick Ultrafast S1 adhesive.


The cement-based ultra rapid- setting adhesive is ideal for fast- track repairs as Keraquick Ultrafast S1 sets to foot traffic in 60 minutes and is ready for grouting in 90 minutes. Suitable for interior and exterior use installing porcelain and ceramic tiles and mosaics, the fast- track product can be used for both renovation and new build installation projects in bathrooms, kitchens, terraces and balconies as well as areas subject to pedestrian traffic.


Jason Brunt, Ceramic Product Manager at Mapei UK, commented: “If you are a quick, well organised tiler, this product is ideal for those smaller bathroom floor installations. Areas where this product comes into its own are when fixtures and fitting need to be reinstalled, where rapid repairs are needed or when installing the last row of tiles quickly will finish the job.”

COLLECTION BluePrint Ceramics, UK-based tile supplier and distributor, has collaborated with the Michael Young Studio to launch the brand-new Michael Young Collection.


Simon Peel, Sales Director, said: ‘’Having met Michael, it was clear his modern way of thinking and innovative design ideas is very like the BluePrint vision, this is why we were keen to bring this collection to our clients.’’


The collection consists of a large selection of innovative designs. One range that was unveiled at this year’s 100% design Show was the range Silk. The collection consists

of hexagonal handmade tiles with an ultra-contemporary design pattern in three bold colourways. When the tiles are assembled together it leaves us with a breathtaking result and an ultra-modern surface covering.


Kirsty McBride, Interior Designer, said: ‘’I noticed this collection at the 100% Design Show and immediately ordered a sample, it looks sensational.’’


Another eye-catching segment to the Michael Young Collection is the range Ayse. This is also a hexagonal format with industrial-looking design patterns that, when arranged together, have a very thought- provoking surface finish that is almost like a work of art. There are a vast selection of colours including metallic and pastels that can be arranged in a variety of ways.
