BAL STRENGTHENS SALES AND SPECIFICATION


SUPPORT TEAM BAL, manufacturer of full tiling solutions, has bolstered its specification team with two new hires.


Mark Lambourn joins the team as Specification Manager covering the Midlands and Wales. He has extensive experience in the construction sector working with architects, house/modular builders, contractors and building owners to deliver high-quality specifications.


Based in Derby, Mark joins BAL from A Proctor Group Ltd, where he combined commercial and technical expertise to promote a portfolio of technically-advanced thermal, acoustic and membrane system solutions, from specification through to project delivery.

KETLEY REPLACES DISCONTINUED QUARRY


TILE RANGES Ketley Brick is manufacturing a range of traditional clay quarry tiles as authentic replacements for well- known discontinued quarry tiles of the past.


With their natural organic clay colours, produced through careful control of the kiln atmosphere, they closely resemble the old quarry tiles once manufactured by Hawkins and Dennis Ruabon.


Made from the same seam of Etruria Marl clay, which is exceptionally dense when fired, these immensely durable 18mm thick tiles are resistant to acids, alkalis, oils, grease and fats. They also

Originally from Bangor in Northern Ireland, but now living in Newcastle upon Tyne, Richard joins BAL from TPG - The Parkside Group where his role was as an Architectural Advisor/ Project Manager. He previously spent more than 10 years with EGGER (UK) in production, sales and specification roles, delivering high-value projects and presenting CPDs within architectural practices.


Mark and Richard will work with architects, designers and specifiers, supporting them on M40/M20 specifications, providing project support and delivering BAL’s suite of RIBA-approved CPDs.
