BESPOKE PROJECTS SURFACE

tz surfaces. Here, we take a look at just some of the recent projects it has worked on, providing ll-known venues across the UK.

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London

One of the most talked-about design ventures of the year so far, the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium features an array of Caesarstone quartz designs that decorate the sport and entertainment venue.

Caesarstone surfaces feature in bars, food service units, within VIP boxes, and in other key hospitality areas around the stadium. The longest bar anywhere in the UK has also been created using Caesarstone’s popular industrial- inspired Rugged Concrete surface design. The stadium also features several other designs from Caesarstone including Sleek Concrete, Nordic Loft and Woodlands. Each has been selected to complement the themes and décor of different hospitality outlets.

A wide range of food and beverage units, including high-end restaurants and bars, will be available in the concourse area as well as in the stadium’s private hospitality areas. The stadium forms part of a major regeneration of the area, offering an exceptional sports, entertainment and leisure destination called the Tottenham Experience.

The Tottenham Hotspur stadium has a capacity of over 62,000 including a single tier stand for 17,500 home fans that provides a ‘wall of noise’ within the ground. The full scale of the project includes an integrated retail and museum facility; hotel; visitor attractions; a Community Health Centre; commercial space and residential units.

Steve Gibbs, Commercial Manager A&D at Caesarstone UK, commented: “The architects wanted to achieve an industrial look but needed a material that would be durable and hardwearing enough to withstand the rigorous demands of an exceptionally busy football stadium, with food and beverage outlets in use seven days a week. Easy maintenance and cleaning are decisive factors when it comes to the service sector, especially when designing high-traffic areas. Caesarstone surfaces ticked all the boxes, with aesthetics that fit the designer’s vision for the new benchmark stadium.”

Meet in Place, London

Another of Caesarstone’s most recent projects, where the striking quartz surfaces once again take centre stage, is at Meet in Place. The start-up, located in the modern financial centre of London, is revolutionising the business meeting experience by offering fully-serviced, design-led meeting room complexes. The new London location is the first in Europe following the enormous success of its NYC and Tel Aviv outposts.

London. With the rise of open office designs and shared co-working spaces, there are fewer private spaces in the workplace and a growing need for an off-site location catered to meetings. Noticing this trend, the team behind Meet in Place came up with a viable alternative to loud, often-full coffee shops or costly hotel conference rooms. Meet in Place offers a high-quality solution for small businesses, big corporations and freelancers to conduct off-site business meetings.

Serious consideration is being given to the design and materials used in modern work spaces as workers and business owners alike are increasingly appreciating the value of quality-built environments and premium interiors. Welcoming visitors and customers is an extensive reception desk topped with Caesarstone’s 4120 Raven. Meanwhile, the Scandinavian-inspired interiors are designed to be open and inviting without feeling sterile, providing a pleasing and functional place to work and meet. The new complex also includes designs by other household names such as Todd Bracher, nendo and Tom Dixon, to name a few.
