Innovators such as Sir James Dyson.

WHAT DID YOU WANT TO BE WHEN YOU WERE GROWING UP?

WHAT DO YOU DO TO UNWIND? I like to borrow a dog and go walking in the great
outdoors. I also enjoy a bit of kayaking.
IF YOU COULD HOST A DINNER PARTY WITH ANY THREE GUESTS, DEAD OR

IF YOU COULD VISIT ANY PLACE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD YOU GO
AND WHY? I would revisit Canada. It’s huge so there’s so many places there I would still like to see. In particular, I’d go to Vancouver Island for the scenery and wildlife.
Q10
KEVIN GRANT, ASSOCIATE CONTRACT SALES DIRECTOR FROM
DESIGNWORKS TILES, ASKED: DO YOU THINK THERE IS SUFFICIENT FORMAL TRAINING FOR PEOPLE COMING INTO OUR INDUSTRY, NOT JUST ON THE FIXING SIDE BUT IN SALES
AND SPECIFICATION? I don’t think it 100% necessary to be formally qualified in those areas as that part of training can be given on the job, but a large part of our business is involved with the design aspect. I’m pleased to say that we have a lot of people working with us that are highly qualified in that area to degree level and beyond.
