Hello and welcome to the March 2026 issue of Tomorrow’s Health & Safety.
The Health & Safety Event is set to return bigger and better than ever on 28-30 April 2026 at NEC Birmingham, and visitors are now able to register to attend for free. Over the three days, there will be 60+ hours of CPD- accredited content across seven theatres, as well as live demonstrations and workshops, and exclusive networking opportunities. With more than 14,500 visitors and a wide range of exhibitors, it promises to be one of the biggest exhibitions for the health and safety industry this year. Tomorrow’s Health & Safety, alongside our sister publication Tomorrow’s FM, will have a stand at the show, so please do come and have a chat to us – we’re a friendly bunch. In this issue, we have a spotlight feature on PPE, with phs Besafe’s Managing Director Mark Stone looking at how rising environmental expectations, tighter waste targets and stronger corporate responsibility commitments are reshaping the PPE market, and Unigloves’ Emma Lovelock highlighting some of the key considerations when it comes to buying latex gloves.

The former sees Pete Zorgenlos, Head of Product Development (UK & Europe) offering expert-led guidance on how to safely manage damaged, defective or end-of-life lithium-ion batteries, and the latter reviews the expanding role of digital information in building safety and how its use is transforming fire door hardware from passive fire protection to an active data source.
