PRODUCTS & SERVICES ANSELL INTRODUCES TOUCHNTUFF 93-800

Ansell Limited, a specialist in safety solutions, has announced the launch of TouchNTuff 93-800, a breakthrough disposable glove designed to deliver at least 15 minutes of acetone resistance. This performance is 15 times longer than standard nitrile disposable gloves currently available, offering a new level of safety for workers who handle aggressive solvents in demanding environments.

Across aerospace, automotive, chemical manufacturing and maintenance, workers frequently encounter strong solvents that can quickly degrade traditional disposable gloves. This results in frequent glove changes, workflow disruption, and greater risk of chemical exposure. TouchNTuff 93-800 offers a reliable solution by providing documented acetone resistance in a comfortable disposable glove that maintains protection during solvent handling, wiping, cleaning and preparation tasks.

TouchNTuff 93-800 is powered by Ansell’s MICROCHEM Chemical Barrier Technology and engineered with a multi-layer design of neoprene, nitrile, and natural rubber latex. This design delivers EN ISO 374-1 Type A chemical resistance, including strong performance against ketones and other harsh solvents. Workers can complete tasks with greater consistency and safety without needing to switch between glove types throughout the day.

The glove also provides certified abrasion and cut resistance under EN388 2110A, supporting durability

during applications where precision and tactile control are essential. Its ergonomic construction enhances dexterity and reduces hand fatigue, while the high visibility orange colour improves foreign object detection in controlled or high precision environments.

TouchNTuff 93-800 also reflects Ansell’s commitment to responsible innovation. The glove contains more than 60% bio-based carbon and is TÜV certified, offering a more sustainable option for chemical protection without compromising performance.

“As a global leader in safety, Ansell is committed to advancing protection in ways that meaningfully impact workers’ lives,” said Evren Baykal, Vice President, Global Product Marketing at Ansell. “TouchNTuff 93-800 sets a new benchmark for disposable chemical resistant gloves. By delivering documented acetone and ketones resistance in a comfortable disposable format, we are giving workers and safety managers greater confidence, improved efficiency, and a smarter approach to chemical protection.”

TouchNTuff 93-800 is now available through authorised Ansell distributors and sales representatives in select regions.
