Along with the inspirational keynotes, The Keynote Theatre will once again welcome some of the biggest names from the health and safety profession.

Opening the show in the Keynote Theatre will be IOSH President Louise Hosking and President Elect Lawrence Webb, with a session on ‘Harnessing the power of social sustainability’. The pair will explore how the health and safety profession can support organisations to shape sustainable business models by putting their people first.

In the Operational Excellence Theatre, will be an interactive workshop on a ‘Cultural approach to wellbeing’. Heather Beach and her guests will look at how traditional health and safety skills help when it comes to organisational wellbeing.

Some other highlights on the programme include: a case study of MIND’s work in industry; the application of the definitive sentencing guideline; no such thing as a forklift ‘licence’: How to confirm driver competence?; hypnotherapy and workplace wellbeing; handling and managing the immediate aftermath of a serious incident; promoting safety across the supply chain; fleet driver and safety panel.

MAKE UP FOR LOST TIME The pandemic has seen huge changes to how we live

and work, contributing to a shift in how the workplace is viewed and what people expect from it.

With a heightened focus on keeping employees safe and well, the role of health and safety has shifted firmly right to the top of every organisation’s agenda, creating a new and unique opportunity for health and safety professionals to have a huge amount of impact.

After years apart, it’s time to debrief with your colleagues and peers and strategize for the future. Reconnect, learn and share, in-person and all in one place, through networking opportunities from breakfasts and drink receptions to closed-door roundtable discussions.
