CARE SHOW PREVIEW 2018 A New Beginning Now under new management, the Care Show once again

returns to Birmingham’s NEC this October. Here, we take a look at what will be going on during the 2018 edition.

Returning to Birmingham’s NEC from 17th-18th October 2018, the Care Show is celebrating a momentous occasion- its 20th birthday!

Having served its profession and industry for 20 years, the show is set for a fresh injection of energy from its new organisers CloserStill Media. Home Care Awards, live music, entertainment and a big birthday party to thank everyone who has attended the Care Show over the years are just some of the features delegates can expect to enjoy.

Dedicated to bringing you new products, services, inspiration and innovation to support you in improving the lives of those in your care and assist you in running your care business, the Care Show is one of the largest and busiest care events in the UK.

By bringing together the key thought- leaders and suppliers in the care sector, the show will provide access to a comprehensive programme of free content giving you the tools and information you need to protect the future of your organisation. Whether you own a care home or you’re a carer yourself, this is the one place that everyone comes together to learn as one community.

As well as celebrating 20 years of care history, the organisers will be adding some fresh interest to the show to ensure there’s something for everyone! There will be more engagement, more opportunities to interact and educate, and more practical training.

One of the main changes under the new management, the show’s seminar programme has been given a complete overhaul and is now a CPD accredited

conference. The talks have been curated to provide you with inspiring yet informative presentations to help you improve your levels of care, motivate your team and drive efficiency.

The Care Show puts a strong focus on networking and introducing new methods and tools to make this as easy as possible for its visitors. At the Show, you can network with over 3,200 professionals within the care sector, share your experiences and learn from theirs. One tool that you can utilise to do this is Care Connect, a supported one- to-one meetings program for registered visitors and exhibitors to enable them to organise meetings easily and efficiently.

With over 250 leading care suppliers exhibiting, you will have access to thousands of products and services and are sure to find exactly what you are looking for. New for 2018, there will be a voucher booklet available to all visitors, containing exclusive show-only discounts on hundreds of care products and services, so you are able to make your budget stretch further.

The Care Show is delighted to celebrate outstanding work within the sector and, as of January 2018, introduced Carer of the Month as a platform to share overwhelming stories of those who have gone above and beyond within the care community. From the list of the previous Carers of the Month, a Carer of the Year will be chosen and announced at this year’s show, receiving an award from an exciting special guest.

Pick up your free exhibitor pass to the show via the website or by calling the delegate booking line on 0207 013 4688.
