TOMORROW'S CARE AWARDS 2026 SECOND PLACE

Registered Manager Membership by Skills For Care

Skills for Care is the membership organisation for registered managers in England. This critical role involves ensuring that the highest quality care is provided to those who need it, and that staff are supported, confident, skilled, and valued.

We know from our close working relationships with registered managers that they find their role incredibly rewarding and varied, but it can often be challenging, complex, and isolating. That’s why at Skills for Care, a key focus of our work is supporting them to feel confident and valued and develop the required skills and knowledge for this vital role.

Through registered manager membership, we help managers build best practice, stay up to date with sector developments, and connect with like-minded peers. It provides them with access to benefits that enhance their learning, development and wellbeing.

For £35 per year, registered managers can become members of our growing community, which helps to increase the professional recognition of the role and champions the values for delivering compassionate, person-centred care.

THIRD PLACE Evondos

by Meds On Time

Evondos is a comprehensive automated medication- dispensing service designed to support independent living and streamline care delivery for home-based clients. Built around a medicine-dispensing robot combined with telecare and service support, the system ensures the right medication, in the correct dose, at the right time — with documented adherence rates of 99%.

Operating in over 600 home-care organisations across the Nordics and the Netherlands, Evondos has correctly dispensed over 100m medicine doses. The solution targets clients with polypharmacy, time critical medication or reduced ability to self-manage. The robot accepts pre-packed multi-dose pouches from a local community pharmacy, then dispenses at scheduled times. Users can receive visual and spoken audio prompts, allowing care teams to monitor remotely via a cloud-based dashboard or mobile.

In practice, the benefits include improved medication safety, enhanced user independence, cost and travel-time savings for providers, and higher job satisfaction for care staff. Evondos is part of the D-MAT (digital medication adherence toolkit) curated by Meds on Time.
