The temperature’s dropping, the nights are starting earlier and the ratio of

Christmas space to Halloween space in the local supermarkets is creeping up above 2:1 – time is running out for 2025. Although there’s still a few weeks left for new developments, it’s hard to ignore the fact that all the industry’s eyes

are focused on the year ahead, with both the Manchester Cleaning Show and Interclean Amsterdam looming in early 2026.

In this October issue of Tomorrow’s Cleaning, we have a major focus on

Technology & Data in the cleaning industry, with Essity’s Lee Radzki looking at the many ways technology is proving to be a force for good in the washroom, going from an unnecessary addition to improving accessibility and making them more sustainable.

Elsewhere, ToolSense explain why technology and data are shaping the future of the cleaning industry, Paul Rapuano from Rapid Global shows us how real-time data matters in the cleaning sector – especially when it comes to

workplace safety, and we hear from BioHygiene as they launch their BioLogix service, which combines training, compliance and more into a singular new digital platform.

Over in our Healthcare Hygiene section, Essity’s Liam Mynes examines some of the ways in which healthcare is becoming smarter, from artificial intelligence to

cleaning technology, while Northwood’s Paul Mulready provides us with practical guidance on how to combat winter viruses in the washroom. SEKO also let us know how switching to on-premise laundry can be a boost to healthcare facilities.
