Cannon Hygiene Takes Gold In People Management


Cannon Hygiene UK has been awarded the Gold standard by Investors in People (IIP), recognising best practice in people management.


IIP is a standard used by thousands of organisations across the world, and the Gold award is only given to those businesses that are able to meet an additional 126 requirements on top of the 39 core IIP objectives.


Cannon Hygiene employees were interviewed by IIP across a number of service centres and Head Office as part of a rigorous and objective process.

Cannon Hygiene provides hygiene solutions to many household names and thousands of SMEs across the

Saint-Gobain Building Distribution Facility and Services Manager, Christian Broady said: "After receiving poor service for several years with the previous incumbent cleaning company, we had to be very diligent in selecting our new supplier.


"Regent Samsic has not let us down, mobilising and delivering the contract in a truly professional manner. I am confident in promoting the company, both internally and externally to other businesses."


Regent Samsic Joint Managing Director, John Critchell, added: "Our teams did a fantastic job getting to sites, quickly meeting the staff and putting processes in place to ensure a swift and easy transfer from the previous incumbent to ourselves.


"We've accrued a lot of experience providing support services to large


retail sites and we're looking forward to bringing that experience to bear at Saint-Gobain Building Distribution."


Regent Samsic has also added two further sites to its national contract with Vertu Motors, the UK's sixth largest motor retail dealership.


Further business gains and retentions include additions to its long standing contract with Hertfordshire County Council, and the retention by a further three years to the large cleaning contract managed by the company on behalf of Monmouth Comprehensive School.
