INTERCLEAN BECOMES HYBRID EVENT

Interclean has extended its physical event, running 3-6 November 2020 at RAI Amsterdam, to be a combination of online and offline.
This ensures it’s possible for everyone to join, keeping in mind global government and company restrictions on traveling and large gatherings.
Online and onsite educational sessions will complement each other and are available for everybody throughout the day, as well as the possibility to (virtually) visit companies, plan meetings with those you want to meet, and socialise with your peers.
In addition to the regular knowledge programme onsite, attendees will be able to follow the interactive sessions live online in which they can ask questions directly to the speakers.

TC AWARDS 2021 2020 has been a tough year for so many, but we feel that it’s time to look forward and celebrate the best the cleaning industry has on offer. We are now accepting entries for the Tomorrow’s Cleaning Awards 2021.
We’re inviting you to tell us what you think have been the best products, innovations and services available over the past 12 months. Our annual awards are a celebration of some of the finest innovations and time-tested solutions that enable you to get the job done on time and to the highest standards.
Over the past few years, celebrated solutions have included everything from software to scrubber dryers. Last year, SmartTask Cleaning took the top spot, but this year could be anyone’s for the taking as it’s down to our readers to vote for the winners.
Tomorrow’s Cleaning Editor, Martin Wharmby, said: “Every year we receive many amazing entries and our awards aim to honour all aspects of the industry. I’m really excited to see what this year brings, especially with many cleaning and hygiene businesses rising to the challenges brought by the pandemic.”

Nominations will be accepted until Friday 25 September. An ‘Awards Guide’ will be produced at the end of 2020, and a public poll will open from December to March.

The most important measure will be that all people need to keep 1.5m distance from others at all times. There will be safety paths of 4m and crowd management and routing to stimulate the flow of visitors will be performed. With maximum prevention in mind the exhibition floor will be re- arranged to ensure that exhibitors are able to have personal meetings and offer hospitality on their stands.
RAI will also ensure good hygiene by providing such means as touchless hand sanitiser, soap, napkins, anti-septic wipes and other cleaning materials.
The current challenge has made RAI more committed to fulfilling their role as a meeting place for hygiene professionals, by building bridges for successful cooperation, and by providing a platform for the sharing of expertise across the global industry. They believe that it’s even more important as organisations worldwide are looking to build consensus on how to tackle outbreaks like the Coronavirus. Interclean Amsterdam can provide important impetus for the global economy at a time when it’s very much needed.
