Editor’s Voice

As the unprecedented worldwide lockdown continues to ease, we’re presented with a situation where the cleaning and hygiene industry is firmly front and centre. In order for economies to recover, enhanced and improved cleaning regimes need to be in place alongside social distancing measures so that safety is top priority.

In this issue of Tomorrow’s Cleaning Ireland, we look at Healthcare Hygiene, in which Liam Smith from Tork manufacturer Essity investigates the challenges faced by nurses. Despite being rushed off their feet, how can they keep their hands clean and virus-free?

In our Floorcare and Maintenance feature, Amtico give us some advice for keeping vinyl flooring looking its best, while elsewhere we also hear from Facilicom UK & Ireland MD, Jan Hein-Hemke, who reminds us all of the importance of taking a break during this unprecedented year.

Thank you very much for reading, please stay safe and enjoy the issue!
