Editor’s Voice

Well, it finally happened: the UK actually left the European Union. Whether you were obnoxiously overjoyed at 11PM on 31 January or saddened and subdued, the truth is that the Brexit process remains unclear, uncertain and unfinished.

There’s a long way still to go, and while we’ve certainly felt some pressure in the cleaning industry, we will need to keep a close eye on negotiations so we can adapt to any changes that come our way – whether they’re good or bad.

In the February 2020 issue of Tomorrow’s Cleaning, we’ve got a bumper

Washroom Hygiene feature packed with all the latest from some of the industry’s biggest players. Stuart from Essity investigates the influence that ‘millennials’

and ‘Generation Z’ are having on the public washroom, while George from Office Depot explores the power of audits for ensuring your business has the right

equipment in place to maintain hygienic washrooms. Trudi from Airdri extolls the benefits of good hand hygiene, and Robert Kravitz reflects on ways to encourage better washroom hygiene in schools.

In our Technology feature, we hear about the new innovations in Robert Scott’s Toucan Eco range, which will be on show at the 2020 Manchester Cleaning

Show. Alcumus SafeContractor checks in with us about how they helped a Little Duck stand out from the crowd, and Christian from Ezitracker looks into how cleaning service providers can benefit by going digital.

Thank you very much for reading, and I hope you enjoy the issue!
