TRANSFORMING THE i4F presents its drop-lock technologies which are 30% faster to
Who wouldn’t want to save up to 30% of their time on installation? Installers certainly do and now DIY consumers are also seeing the benefits, preferring to spend that extra time enjoying their new floor.
i4F drop-lock technologies deliver revolutionary flooring installation solutions that are up to 30% faster to install than basic angle-angle systems. Powered by its patented innovations: 3L TripleLock® and Click4U®
- the original one piece drop-lock technology, - an angle system for the long side, combined with
3L TripleLock on the short side, i4F drop-lock technologies do exactly what they say. Just drop and lock panels in all formats, including panels, four-sided tiles, herringbone and chevron. No inserts or any special tools are required. Disassembly is as easy as installation making removal of even intricate patterns, like herringbone, fast and easy.
HOW TO INSTALL WITH i4F’S ONE PIECE DROP-LOCK SYSTEM USING A
2-PLANK TECHNIQUE ● Simply drop and lock panels together
● i4F’s one piece drop-lock system provides the most intuitive locking solution for all flooring products. To install, simply ‘angle in’ the long side of the plank into the previous row, and then just drop the short side on to the short side of the previous plank. Tapping smoothly with a hard PVC mallet fully locks the panels.
● The system enables installations to be carried out by one person, instead of two people – which is mostly the case with older systems.

EASY INSTALLATION 1. Acclimatise panels for 48 hours and check for any damage
2. Ensure you have sub-flooring - either pre-attached to panels or separate, not both
3. Remove plinths and any remaining obstructions like nails, glue etc.
4. For first alignment, use 2-plank technique without spacers
5. Only when the 2-planks are removed, use 5mm/0.2 inch spacers
Currently in use on hundreds of millions of square meters of flooring around the world, i4F drop-lock technologies work seamlessly with all materials, including laminate, luxury vinyl tiles, expanded polymer core, solid polymer core and wooden flooring panels. i4F drop-lock technologies make flooring installation faster and easier than ever before because panels can remain flat during installation, even when the next panel is being connected.
Easy installation with i4F drop-lock technologies is opening up further growth opportunities in DIY and retail. Professional installers like it because time is money, and they can lay more flooring per hour – up to 30% more in fact! That makes for a compelling reason to choose i4F drop-lock any floor panel. It’s also easy for manufacturers to introduce as they don’t need to change or upgrade their machines to produce our profile.

EASY DISASSEMBLING ● Lift up the entire row at an angle

● Using a wedge makes disassembling easier and faster
