HERRINGBONE WOOD Kährs has extended their wood flooring portfolio with a brand-new collection of large format herringbone engineered wood designs, in styles described as Modern Classic. The designs are easy to install and suitable for both residential and commercial applications.
The new Kährs Herringbone Collection consists of seven engineered wood floor designs, ranging from crisp whitewashed colours, to warming greys, to rich and smoky cappuccino designs. Depending on the desired interior style, the collection offers various different designs from clean and calm, to more lively and rustic with distressed features including on-trend saw marks.
The board size for each design is 600 x 120 x 11 mm, larger than Kährs’ other popular herringbone collection, Studio. The larger size achieves an even more remarkable and distinct look,
KERAKOLL REVEALS REVOLUTIONARY NEW
DECORATIVE RANGE Fugabella Color, the new colour grout and sealant range from Kerakoll, has been designed by Piero Lissoni to contain 50 of the most relevant colours for modern interiors from delicate neutrals and gentle pastels to rich, intense shades.
The grout is a resin-cement hybrid which is safe, simple to choose and easy to use. It is formulated with a new mix of pure, natural binders which have been hybridised with resin binders and other additives, giving them very low VOC content, lower environmental impact than traditional cement or epoxy-resin grouts, and making them safer for people's health.

These designs have the power to transform a standard space into something quite exceptional and Kährs can now offer the A&D Community a new stunning large format Herringbone Collection, in addition to the popular existing patterned floors within the

The mix is light and easy to work with; it does not slide off the trowel and remains workable without changing consistency in the bucket, so you don't need to add water which can lead to colour inconsistencies.
The rich, intense colours are due to the particles used in the grout. They maintain the depth of colour and don't fade as resin-cement grout is not subject to salt and lime efflorescence.
The purity of the materials employed along with the use of specific natural additives gives reduced water
range. With a variety of in-vogue colours, and both clean and rustic grades available, the interior styles that can be achieved are limitless.”
Each design utilises an engineered construction and a tongue and groove locking system for a stable and sustainable end product. Every design has been finished with a natural oil to enhance the natural lustre of the floor and offers a long-lasting protection, with a 30-year warranty for residential applications and 20 for commercial specifications. Brushing on each design highlights the texture of the natural wood, and a micro bevel has been added for edge definition around each side of the board.

The grout is accompanied by a coordinating range of silicone sealants in the same colours. These develop a high degree of adhesion thus ensuring that the seal stays watertight even on joints subject to deformation.
