Belgian carpet tile manufacturer, modulyss will be holding a sneak preview of its new showroom in Clerkenwell for CDW. Designed by a leading London-based D&B practice, the space will provide the opportunity for the architecture and design community to discover modulyss carpet tiles that lead the way in sustainability and design, including 28 Cradle to Cradle Certified Gold products.


Throughout Clerkenwell Design Week, modulyss will host a programme of events at its Clerkenwell Road space, including workshops from Laura Perryman, author of The Colour Bible and a talk from leading sustainability visionary, Chris Hines. The programme reflects the brand’s ambition to make inspiring carpet tiles for a sustainable future.

Sustainable Swedish design company, Bolon, will celebrate the launch of its new Truly rug collection at Clerkenwell Design Week, with visionary Bolon sisters, Annica and Marie Eklund in attendance.

Author of The Colour Bible and visual identity consultant for leading brands, Laura Perryman, will present Future Trends in Colour. Taking a fascinating walk through how colour and materials shape our perception, Laura will also be workshopping the key colours, modulyss carpet tiles and materials influencing wellbeing and impacting sustainability.


“Clerkenwell Design Week gives us the chance to engage with the community and to explore the ideas that are shaping the design of commercial interiors. We hope that our showroom will see many new conversations on a more sustainable future started at this year’s festival,” concludes Jose Hamp.

Circular Economy Masterclass with modulyss sustainability expert, Marie De Laet looking at how we can protect our planet for future generations by embracing the principles of circularity.

On Tuesday 24 May, CDW visitors will be given the unique opportunity to meet two of the pioneering designers behind the collection, Annica and Marie Eklund, Bolon COO and CEO for a celebratory glass of champagne from 5pm. Throughout CDW, the Truly rug collection will be displayed at the brand’s Clerkenwell showroom and Bolon will serve guests bubbles and corn-fed Iberico leg of ham, as is their CDW tradition.

Laura Perryman, will present Future Trends in Colour, investigating how colour and materials shape our perception. After the talk at 2pm, there will be a chance to drop in and workshop the colours and materials influencing wellbeing and impacting sustainability.

Saffron May, modulyss workplace specialist and interior design graduate, will team with trend forecasters Scarlet Opus on Diversity in the Future Workplace, discussing how to create more inclusive workplaces by embracing human-centric design, upcoming technologies and wellbeing.

Designed to make a statement, the Truly rug collection features enlarged patterns, colour effects and hyper texture. Truly is a bold collection, created in-house, and shaped around the creative vision of the five women who make up the design team, including Annica and Marie. The range consists of five made-to-measure rug designs, each with its own expression and identity, representing the passions and expertise of the Bolon team.
