WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE FLOORING SHOW 2023
The countdown is on until the UK’s largest flooring event lands in Harrogate for its 2023 edition from 17-19 September. To help you make the most of your visit and plan your schedule, we’ve compiled a preview of what’s on and who you can see at the industry event of the year.

WOOL TRENDS CENTRE Located in Hall C, the Campaign for Wool working in conjunction with the Wool Carpet Focus Group, will this year be focusing on the theme Keep Warm with Wool. With ever-rising utility costs the conversation around the benefits that wool can bring to maintain an ambient room temperature has never been more relevant.
This creative space will feature wool carpet trends and ranges from the leading wool carpet suppliers, showing new shades, design constructions, types and qualities.
Visitors will be able to walk through the showcase of hanging wool carpets, with a focus on the following trends:
• Warmth – insulation, cosiness, protection. 22
• Comfort – wellbeing, emotional comfort, safe, reduced allergies.
• Natural – creative diversity of undyed and dyed carpet yarns for natural beauty.
• Nature – outdoors, green, uplifting, botanicals, biodegradable, planet friendly.
• Aqua – ocean friendly, water tones, seaweed, plant and sea life.
• Texture – landscapes, earth textures, easy care maintenance.
The feature will showcase the tremendous design, invention, and innovation within the wool sector.
DEMO ZONE Back by popular demand, the Demo Zone will be showcasing the newest floor laying techniques and giving visitors brand-new insight into working with the latest products. All demonstrations will be shown at the dedicated area in Hall B, with live demos from qualified instructors. FITA will also be offering the opportunity for visitors to come and ask the experts anything, as they open the stand up to bespoke demonstrations of anything covered over the course of the show.
Run by the Flooring Industry Training Association (FITA) and supported by the Contract Flooring Association (CFA) and National Institute of Carpet & Floorlayers (NICF) this is a chance to discover something new and bring back more than just new stock to your business.
