Wood and Laminate takes the lead in our features this month where we hear from Tony Peak at Bona on how to bring new life to wood floors. Tony advises on using primers, lacquers and oils to achieve a wide variety of finishes and sheens to suit all needs and aesthetic tastes. Not only will renovating a wood floor bring a unique appearance to an interior design scheme but it also provides business and home owners a sustainable cost-saving option over flooring replacement, he says.
Also on the subject of wood, Wagner Meters’ Jason Spangler explains why it’s particularly important to measure moisture in subfloors before installing wood floorcoverings and explains the process when testing both wood and concrete substrates.
