PREPTEC SUPPLIES SHOT BLASTING EQUIPMENT
TO HIRE COMPANY Floor preparation equipment supplier Preptec has recently supplied a number of totally enclosed shot blasting machines to specialist equipment hirer WH Surface Preparation. Following a successful trial, the hirer, with four regional UK depots, decided to invest in a number of new S210 and S320 machines. Applications include the preparation of concrete and steel surfaces prior to application of follow on overlays such as coatings and screeds, the removal of failed paint, brittle adhesive and corrosion, texturing concrete and creating non slip surfaces.
The S210 and S320 shotblasting machines are specified on projects including new-build and refurbishment of car parks, shopping centres, retail
units, warehouses, bridges, ships and petrochemical tanks. The equipment propels steel abrasive at the floor surface at high velocity cleaning , texturing and removing any old contaminants. The abrasive is air washed and recycled inside the machine and the debris is removed by a connected dust collection vacuum. The equipment is dust free in operation, simple to operate and easy to maintain making it ideal for use by contractors and maintenance teams.
