BAL CONTINUES TO REINFORCE SALES AND


MARKETING TEAM BAL has made moves to strengthen their sales and marketing teams with two new appointments.


Kathryn Hyde has joined as marketing manager, and David Moore as area sales manager for the north west and north Wales.


Kathryn brings with her a wealth of expertise in communications and customer engagement from a variety of sectors in the B2B arena.


Following her appointment, Kathryn said: “It is a pleasure to be joining a company with such a renowned reputation for quality products and the unique services it offers to the market.”

GOES GLOBAL PRO-TEK WPC has extended its business into South America and the United Arab Emirates, with expansion into other international and European markets to follow later this year. New markets include Peru, Chile and Dubai, where the full range of PRO-TEK WPC engineered vinyl floors will be offered, alongside matching accessories.


Since its launch at The Flooring Show last September, the PRO-TEK WPC brand has established itself as the new, alternative flooring option, offering the aesthetic of a natural- effect LVT, with additional practical and acoustic benefits. David Moore joins BAL from N&C Nicholls and Clarke where he worked as a Branch Manager. He has previous experience working in the builders’ merchants sector and is also a trained plumber.


David will work with BAL’s distribution network in the region, as well as supporting fixers and contractors with the company’s portfolio of tile fixing products.


David said: “I’m delighted to join such as well-respected and innovative


business in the tiling industry. I look forward to working with the company’s vast distribution network as well as fixers and contractors in the region.”

MANAGER FOR AMERICAS F. Ball and Co. Ltd. has appointed Steve Perry as export manager for The Americas to assist the company’s expansion into new global markets.

Steve brings to the new role a wealth of experience in international business development, acquired whilst working for global floorcovering manufacturers in Europe, Canada, Russia and the Middle East, as well as hands-on knowledge of the flooring industry garnered during his time as a professional contractor.


Commenting on his appointment, Steve said: “I’m really excited by the opportunity to establish the global presence of such a respected brand, with quality products, as F. Ball. Working over a wide geographical area will be a challenge, but it’s one I’m looking forward to.”
