Since its inception in 2006, Fine Art Asia has attracted an increasing number of major international galleries whilst gaining recognition as one of Asia’s foremost events dedicated to antiques and works of art. Te fine art fair encourages a mix of Western and Asian works of art, as well as fine jewellery and objets d’art. Ink Asia 2018 provides a


platform for ink works in a variety of media – not only traditional works in ink on paper, but also the myriad innovative art forms inspired by ink – promoting mutual understanding of ink at an international level. Te Ink Society, Hong Kong is presenting a special exhibition of Lui Shou Kwan (1919- 1975), who is recognised as Hong Kong’s pioneer in contemporary ink art, with his


firm belief in breaking away from traditional constraints. Born in Guangzhou, Lui’s interest in painting was inherited from his father who was a scholar painter. Te exhibition comprises a comprehensive collection of Lui Shou Kwan’s works, on loan from Hong Kong collectors, showing the diversity and range of Lui’s style. TRIBAL ART LONDON


Now in its 11th iteration, and the UK’s first-ever and only specialist collectors’ event in this field, Tribal Art London Fair has 21 participants from the UK, Europe, Africa and the USA. Indigenous and tribal art and artefacts, no longer the preserve of museum curators and ethnographers, are an important element of today’s art market. Tis tribal fair is the UK’s most important focal point for international and local collectors, and has stamped its mark on the international fair circuit by offering an exciting diversity of works for sale, as well as hosting lectures and talks on many subjects relating to indigenous cultures. ASIA CONTEMPORARY ART SHOW


Now in its 13th year, the show will welcome more than 80 galleries showing a wide selection of Asian and Western art, including artists such as Aung Myint from Burma, who started painting in the 1960s, Namdrol Gyansan, a Tibetan artists creating modern works inspired by old traditions, and the ceramicist Su Xianzhong, who is a 4th generation master of Dehua, Blanc de Chine porcelain.
