“in praise of shadows” ~Jun’ichiro Tanizaki Atelier: the name evokes the hand of craftsmen and the tradition of artisanal fabrication. The realisation of this


fluid optical design was through the collaboration with artisans, who hand carved the models for each piece. The calculation of the embossment and the glazing produces an effect of ebbing water in the tide pools. Designed with fine dining in mind, the lightness in weight and porcelain colour speak of quality and craftsmanship.
