Buyers head to Birmingham
The 13th edition of Advanced Engineering runs from 2-3 November 2022 at the NEC in Birmingham. As well as a focus on R&D, design, test and measurement, advanced materials, manufacturing and production, this time the event will feature a meet-the-buyer facility where automotive and aerospace businesses will have the opportunity to attend pre- arranged one-to-one meetings with buyers from leading OEMs, courtesy of the exhibition’s partnership with the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders and ADS, who will be co-locating their respective
long-established meet-the- buyer events. The show will feature 40
private meeting rooms where confi dential conversations with primed buyers can take place. The buyers have been carefully selected by the SMMT and ADS respectively, based on their purchasing requirements, live projects and enthusiasm to form new relationships, making this an opportunity that should not be missed. Selected businesses can also
attend a networking lunch hosted by the SMMT on day one, and a breakfast hosted by ADS on day two, which
will take place in the show’s networking area between the aerospace and automotive show zones, giving them further opportunity to form new partnerships with some of the world’s leading OEMs. Interested buyers, suppliers
and exhibitors simply need to register their interest on the Advanced Engineering website. Details will then be passed to the relevant trade body, which will fi nd the qualifi ed buyer and arrange the meeting.
