SHOW PREVIEW
Mineral exploration community to gather at Canadian event
The PDAC 2024 Convention is back for another year, with the mineral exploration and mining convention taking place from 3-6 March in Toronto, Canada. Sometimes referred to as the ‘Super Bowl’ of the mineral exploration and mining community, the annual convention brings together up to 24,000 attendees from over 130+ countries for its educational programming, networking events, and business opportunities. Since it began in 1932, the
convention has grown in size, stature, and infl uence, according to the PDAC. Today, it hosts more than 1,100 exhibitors and 700 speakers. The exhibition will highlight products, services, mining jurisdictions and development opportunities, where attendees will have the
chance to view core samples and review research projects. Attendees will also be given
access to 200 hours’ worth of content across a diverse spectrum of industry topics, including artifi cial intelligence, geoscience, critical minerals, and sustainability. PDAC president Raymond Goldie says: “After 92 years, PDAC’s annual convention in Toronto is still the event of choice for the world’s mineral exploration industry’s leaders, companies, executives, government representatives, students, scientists, and anyone involved or interested
in mineral exploration and development.” “Covering over 600,000
square feet of event space across both the North and South Buildings of Toronto’s Metro Toronto Convention Centre, PDAC 2024 will again be one of the largest shows we have put on after almost a century of global success. Truly, the PDAC Convention is the World’s Premier Mineral Exploration and Mining Convention.”
