CEM MIDDLE EAST Welcome to CEM Middle East!

This is the first meeting of CEM events to be held in the Middle East. We are delighted to be in Bahrain for this, the first in the Series of CEM Middle East events that we will organise.

CEM Middle East has been built on the foundations and successes of over 30 Air Emission and Air Quality monitoring events that have taken place in the UK in India and across Europe since 1997.

We would very much like to thank His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Bin Daina, the Minister of Oil & Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs who has given his support for this event and his attendance at the opening of the conference. I would also like to thank Eng Luma Abbas AlMahroos, Director, Environmental Monitoring & Protection, in Supreme Council for Environment for giving the open speech for this CEM Middle East meeting.

We would like to welcome visitors who have taken time out and have travelled from all over the Middle East from many different industries to this meeting. Visitors will be encouraged to network and discuss their projects and share their experiences with both technical presenters at the conference and with exhibitors in the exhibition hall.

Buffett Lunches will be available to visitors and will be served in the exhibition hall, coffee will also be served in the exhibition during the breaks, please help yourselves.

Yours Sincerely Marcus Pattison
