PETROLEUM & REFINING TECHNOLOGIES

20 TP Europe – Stand I7

Future proof emission management, with TP Europe’s knowledge! With the announcement of adopting a new “Methane Strategy”, the European Union has made a strong, clear and explicit commitment to fi ght climate change and become climate neutral by 2050.With a proposed cut of greenhouse gas emissions by at least 55% by 2030. This would also require up to 37% methane emission reductions by 2030. These changes mean that legislative proposals on compulsory measurement, reporting and verifi cation for all energy-related methane emissions are likely in the near future. Such legislation will include an obligation to improve leak detection and repair (LDAR) of leaks on e.g. all fossil gas infrastructure. Together with TP Europe, you use their knowledge to achieve the requirements according to OGMP 2.0 gold standard, combined with their strong ATLAS®

Asset Integrity Management database.

Process Insights – Stands H6 and I8

Process Insights will be displaying their new LAR QuickTOCeco, a measuring device for the continuous online determination of total organic carbon (TOC) in municipal wastewater in the infl uent and effl uent as well as in the cooling water. Correlation to BOD and COD is possible. Complete oxidation is guaranteed, so that the use of chemicals is not necessary. At 1,200°C, the samples are completely oxidised and the TRUETOC result is determined within 3 minutes.

FLIR will demonstrate its fi rst Intrinsically Safe certifi ed OGI camera at PEFTEC. The FLIR GFx320 detects and visualises invisible hydrocarbon gas emissions, such as methane, and common volatile organic compounds (VOCs) found at oil and natural gas facilities. The GFx320represents ground-breaking technology for surveying critical and potentially dangerous work zones. Instead of scanning for fugitive and non-fugitive gas emissions from outside hazardous areas, with the FLIR GFx320 workers can assess potential risks from afar and, once the area is deemed safe, enter with the camera to continue scanning. FLIR designed theGFx320with the user in mind, offering ergonomic features such as the articulating LCD screen to help you avoid fatigue during all-day surveys.
