25 New Low Cost Intelligent IC

The 883 Basic IC plus fromMetrohmwith <<Intelligence>> is now available in the UK. It is the smallest Ion Chromatograph (IC) in the MetrohmIntelligent IC range. AtMetrohmlow cost does notmean inferior hardware; in fact the 883 Basic IC plus has the very same iPump, iDetector and iColumns as our top end 850 Professional IC.MagicNet Basic software offers an intuitive interface between the user and the instrument which ensures that the path fromsample analysis to reported result has never been simpler.

In-house Swiss development, manufacture and quality controlmeansMetrohmoffers a three year instrumentwarranty and ten year suppressorwarranty as standard.AtMetrohmwe firmly believe that the quality and experience of our people alongwith the instruments differentiate ourselves fromthe competition. We offer a teamofUK based technical support that goesmuch further product familiarization and include optimization of the application as part of the servicewe offer.

Our customer’s informus that they like the flexibility and ease of access of all hardware components withMetrohmIntelligent IC.What thismeans is that with a simple change of separation column and eluent one can change the chemistry of analysis. If the number of samples to be assayed or budget constraints prevents the option of dual systems; with the 883 Basic IC plus one can run anion determinations in themorning followed by the cation analysis after lunch. This is pretty unique toMetrohmas a result of the fast equilibration times of our IC instruments. Automation is also possible with the 863 Compact Autosampler.

Monitoring functionality and control charts within the softwaremean that the information from the database can easily be profiled over a period of time and should values be outside of a strictly defined tolerance than the user is immediately notified through the software.
