Great Hosts
Friendship Travel Hosts are special people. We don’t call them Reps, because they are much more than that. Our Hosts – either a team member from the UK or a local Host – are young enough to make things go with a swing, but mature and professional enough to make sure that everyone is happy.
Many Hosts have worked for Friendship Travel for years. They are steeped in our ethos, know their resort inside out and have good relationships with the locals.
Hosts also know that holidaying alone can be daunting, so go out of their way to break the ice, make introductions, and be a friend if needed.
Hosts onboard PONANT EXPLORATIONS
These cruises are suited for independent travellers and the onboard Travel Advisor and the Restaurant Manager will ensure you meet other solo travellers onboard.
Good Company
Every holiday is Hosted, typically by a team member who flies out from the UK with the group, or who is based in the resort for the season.
Hosts are on hand 6 days a week, making sure everything runs smoothly, from checking that your room is ready for single occupancy, to pouring the wine at dinner and making sightseeing suggestions.
In some destinations we use local Hosts, such as walking breaks in the UK and Morocco and on safari in Kenya. BodyHoliday St Lucia are Hosted on our behalf by the resort staff. On our Reading Holidays your Host will be Paul or one of his team. A separate Friendship Travel Host does not travel on these holidays.
