Holiday & area The New Forest has so much to offer with a Heritage centre in Lyndhurst and the National Museum at Beaulieu. Enjoy a 7-mile walk in the forest on Saturday (including a midday stop at a pub for lunch at own cost), and a 3-mile walk after breakfast on Sunday.


Hotel & room This old coaching inn with small pool and adjoining restaurant welcomes our groups on a regular basis. In this rambling building there is no such thing as a standard room. They vary in size and aspect. Your local Host (an experienced walks leader) joins you before dinner on Friday and stays at the hotel throughout.

Holiday & area Chester is a great historic city in which to spend Christmas. It has everything from the Roman walls to half-timbered, covered walkways and a racecourse, which is no more than 10 minutes’ walk from the hotel. Your break starts on Christmas Eve (Tuesday) with cream tea, through to breakfast on the 27 December (Friday). An optional walking tour is available on Christmas Day.


Hotel & room The Abode hotel offers you a sophisticated base for a relaxing break, ideal for those wanting to shy away from DJs and dancing. Your ‘Comfortable’ double room offers all the mod cons for you to enjoy. Upgrades are available. Your Host will welcome you on Christmas Eve and stay at the hotel throughout your break.
