TheVictoriana vibe extends throughout – darkrichwoods andwoodenfloors,brass fittings, ahot air balloonlamp andoodlesof greenery leſt me half expecting a gentlemanexplorer in the cornerof the roomdrinking brandyandrecounting tales of hismorallyquestionable adventuresdownthe Amazon.
Theplace felt relaxedand welcomingandthis extendedtothe staffwho couldn’t bemore friendly. The adult slushiemachine onthe bar servespineapple ice Martiniswhichmight also be a goodwaytokeep the kids quiet.

hit, theplatewas a gorgeous presentation– aworkof culinary art. It alsocame with 3 eggs!That's 1 better than 2 eggs! I trulyamlivingmybest life! Big shoutout tothe candysmokedbacon, two insanelysweetandcrisply goldenstrips. Iwasn’t sure if I shouldcut it with a knifeor shatter it with a toffee hammerbut I lovedit!Vine ripenedcookedtomatoes explodedflavourand contrastedwith thesmoky beans.Anotherunusualbut verywelcome additionwas the friedplantain slices, sweetandohsogood–more breakfasts shouldinclude these little treats!The Brick Lane bagelwas simply doughy,denseanddelightful. The sausageswere nicebut perhaps lackedsomeof the depthof flavourwhen comparedtothe neighbouring itemsbut this is aminor quibble forwhat reallywas a greatbreakfast!
