The Time Machine From 14 September, various locations
Norwich Theatre Company The Keeper’s Daughter has used the recent lockdowns to create a brand new show which will embark on an East Anglian tour this autumn. Based upon H.G. Wells’ The Time Machine, this dynamic, new, one-person production is a family show featuring puppetry, physical theatre, contemporary gadgets and electronic soundscapes, and has been designed to play community spaces such as village halls, churches and pubs, as well as theatres and arts centres. The show will open at The Seagull Theatre in Lowestoft on Tuesday 14 September and a full list of venues can be found at:

Thailand Festival 14-15 August, Eaton Park, Norwich
Experience a weekend of Thai culture without leaving the county. The festival starts with a traditional food offering to Buddhist monks and includes traditional music and dancing, Muay Thai boxing, a Ladyboy show, Thai beer garden, Thai food and produce stalls, Thai massage and a children’s play area.

The Darkness 23 November, UEA Norwich
Everyone’s favourite Lowestoft export, glam rock giants The Darkness are back in town following the release of their new album, Motorheart. With support from British Lion, the side project of Iron Maiden bassist Steve Harris, the band will be performing their extensive back catalogue, as well as numbers from the new album, which will no doubt be brimming with their trademark guitar riffs, soaring falsetto and outrageous outifts. Their previous album, 2019’s Easter Is Cancelled, became the band’s fourth Top 10 album in the UK, topping the Offi cial Charts Top 40 Rock Chart and the iTunes Rock Chart.
