KB Heating and Air Conditioning Best of the Best

Since 1983, KB Heating and Air Conditioning Ltd. in Lethbridge has been delivering quality products and services for the city and surrounding communities, and this year received three awards through the annual Best of the Best Awards.
For almost a decade, KB Heating
has been nominated and highly voted on for the best service in a number of categories. This year, the KB Heating team claimed Best Plumbing Business, Best Heating and AC, as well as plac- ing third for Best Furnace Cleaning and Service.
“I think it is a really good honour that the community honours us in this way, to be considered top of our class in the key areas of focus is a pretty big feather in our cap and we can’t thank the community enough for supporting us since 1983 and hopefully the trend continues,” says Chris Bruce, Sales and Marketing Manager. Throughout the pandemic, every business had to work around and find the best practices to properly serve their customers, and KB Heating and Air Conditioning says they were fairly prepared with their already strong safety precautions, but they praise their employees for taking the initia- tives to keep not only them, but the community safe.
“Our first focus is always safety, it gets brought up in all of our depart- ment meetings and we like to have an open dialogue with our employees with
keeping up with the proper PPE in light of the pandemic and obviously we want to be respectful in our customers’ homes, so our employees take all the precautions, we take it very seriously,” says Bruce. Spanning across many industry needs, KB Heating says that being able to collectively work with each depart- ment, as well as the dedication and commitment to their jobs, they appre- ciate the recognition in many of their main-focus departments.
“It’s nice that we have such a range of
product offerings and that we are doing well with all of them, it is a big pat on the back to our staff that are dedicat- ed to their job and committed every day, making sure that our customers are happy and we get the job done,” says Bruce. “It allows us the ability to be flexible because we have employees throughout the departments that can assist other departments and I think it allows us to be very customer service oriented.”
Starting out as a one-man operation in 1983, to a large industry leader in the community, KB Heating and Air Conditioning has evolved into one the largest mechanical contractors serving southern Alberta communities, as well as large commercial and industrial projects since 1988. With over 100 local employees dedicated to meeting the mechanical needs of the area, the management and employees of KB Heating thank the community for their continued support and recognition with the Best of the Best Awards.
