four different levels, meaning four different tests and four different coursesfor the six horses; torrential rain thrown into the mix at Cirencester Park and Swalcliffe, but after questioning my sanity the horsesall pulledout the stops! Aclean sheet across the board for all of them.
The Intermediate boys, Confession Time and CHF Archie; the Advancedboys, Trendy Captain Clover and Undalgo De Windsor; the Novice Interlaken W, and lastly the UnaffiliatedatSwalcliffe for myhomebred6yo mare Cavorting Kandy. All doing consistent tests, withobviously plenty
of room for improvement -asalways whenit comesto the posh trotting. Star of the dressage, Trendy Captain Clover did his PB at Advanced level and made me so proud, he is suchatrier and just so accurate in all that he does. They all felt on fantastic form in the jumping
phases, withall the horsesjumping lovely double clears, and some came home in the ribbons too. It was exciting to have myhomebred out at her second event. She is one Iam

at here starting myblogand thinking what acrazyprofession Ihave! Over the last few weeks, Ihave ridden
particularly excitedabout for the future. She lovesher job, although very new to her still, but has pickeditupjust like that! Along four days and certainly lacking
on the sleep front. It was all made worth it, whenIlook backand think how far each horse has come. We all know that this crazy sport comeswithhighs, but it also comes withmanylows. So, it is important to enjoy every moment of weekends like this. Following on from the Cirencester/Swalcliffe
marathon, it was only a couple of weeks till we were at it again. This time off to Aston le Walls for a consecutive four days. Dayone, saw us driving there in torrential
rain once again; wondering if the event would
evenrun.Questioning sanity once again!!! It was all systems go though, thanks to the
incredible hard work of the team at Aston le walls. The Advancedboys kickedoff the show,
along withCHF Archie making his debut at this level. He is an 8yo and an extremely good
jumper...yes, the one that jumps out of the field over five bar gatesfor fun! (as you will know if you follow me on social media) All threehorsespostedrespectable dressage

for daytwo, this time in the Intermediate. A lovely dressage test from bothboys. Asuper jumping round from Confession Time, although adding two poles, he jumpedvery well but just got alittle distracted! Likewise withInterlaken W. Sometimesgoing abit too careful in this phase, he also jumpedwell but addeda couple of faults. Ihear you ask... abit too careful… surely you want them to be ultra-careful... but not always as whenit comestorelated combinations, it is harder to make the distance if the horse has too muchclear, airtime.
