JOE’SJOURNAL The Italian Trip!
anotherweekand for onceIwent and did some sightseeing between the shows. I went to visit Lake Como; of course, Otis couldn’t miss out, so Charlotte bought him along too. Otis evengot to swim in the lakes. It is abeautiful place and one Iwould love to go backto. The third weekwas agreat success.
Cash jumpedareally superbdouble clear in the Grand Prix and we were third. Will Funnell won it; it was great to see him win withEquine AmericaDiamo. Prior to the trip we had abusy few
weeks, whichincluded filming withsponsors Equine Americaand HunterWood shavings.
Ialso spent an interesting dayat the CharlesOwenfactory making my own helmet. It was fascinating to seehow they are made, but it was the safety testing that Ifound incredible to watch. The tests that the helmets go through to make sure they are safefor riders are brilliant. Ihave beenacceptedonto the World
Class Program, Podium Potential Pathway. The objective of Podium Potential Pathway is to identify, support and develop younger athletes who demonstrate the potential to progress to Podium Potential level in the future. The World Class Program will offer me training, veterinary support and advice,
