An 1898 Pattern Infantry Officer’s Sword. The bright blade by ‘F. W. Flight, Winchester,’ the blade etched with the name ‘Glyn Harding 1914-1915’, the pierced plated hand guard incorporating the GVR cypher, wire bound fish skin grip, together with its field service leather covered wooden scabbard, this complete with sword frog, the top of the scabbard slightly damaged, otherwise very good condition

A German Great War Prussian Infantry Officer’s Pickelhaube. A standard all leather pickelhaube, possibly size 55. Good leather body with crazing overall, the front and back peaks are securely attached to the main body with some minor distortion to the rear peak. All of the fittings, which include the back strap, removable spike, circular spike base, front Prussian plate with cut out crown and flat chin scales all match in colour, complete with its correct Reich and national cockades. Light tan leather liner excellent with its original silk interior. The front and back peaks respectively lined in green and red, very good condition
