How did you meet?
One night, when we were out with some friends, he asked if he could buy me a drink and we started talking. I later found out, Terrence told his mother and grandmother that i was the the one he was going to marry.
How did he propose?
Terrence was always one that could never keep a secret. I got off work on March 22 at 3:30 to register our son for soccer before 4:30. I went to change and Terrence came behind me telling me how much he loved me. I said “I love you too, but we have to go!” He stated that he just couldn’t wait any longer to spend the rest of his life with me. I turned around with one arm stuck in my shirt to fi nd him on one knee crying. He could hardly speak. When I started to cry, telling him YES! YES! YES! our kids came running into the room, to fi nd him holding me, us both crying and laughing, telling them that “Mommy and Daddy are GETTING MARRIED!!!”
Where are you planning on getting married? Why did you book this location?
We chose The Beveridge Landmark Events, because we fell in love with the location as soon as we saw it. The elegance of the building is stunning, and the location is perfect, right in downtown Medicine Hat!
Are you planning on incorporating anything special (of special signifi cance to you) to your wedding festivities?
We will be having a special table with pictures for all of our loved ones that cannot be here. I will also be doing something extra special with my mom’s wedding dress, as she passed away 20yrs ago, but is still very close to my heart.
What are you most excited about for your wedding day?
That we get to become husband and wife and will spend the rest of our lives growing old together!
