Welcome to the November edition of Live 24-Seven. Last month was a bit of a rollercoaster month for many of us with signs that the pandemic was gathering pace again.

Businesses have gradually been trying to get back to normal and find a way through the myriad of regulations and this has been a difficult time for many. If we wish to support our local communities now is the time to do it. It’s not just the hospitality industry but the retail sector too which needs our support if they are survive and flourish.
The festive season is not that far away so avoid the crowds and start your shopping now. We are blessed with lots of fabulous independent shops, galleries and boutiques in our region so why not pay them a visit. We put the spotlight on to Ledbury this month and that is a perfect example of an unspoilt town, just brimming with character.
Days out seem to be becoming more and more difficult but there are opportunities out there if you know where to look. Our gardening expert showcases a fabulous new book which looks at some of the most amazing gardens in the world. We may not be able to visit them right now but this literary offering will certainly transport you there in spirit.

And talking of spirits, this month I chatted to three of the region’s top gin makers. I’m a great fan of gin and these three are certainly know their stuff when it comes to producing fabulous, tasty products – why not stock up for Christmas and support more of our local businesses.
We also have an interview with the fabulous singer Keith Urban whose current single with Pink is regularly being played on the radio. Find out what he has to say about his fascinating life.
