Torque Solutions Appointed as Atlas Copco’s Smart Connected Bolting Distributor
Atlas Copco Tools & Industrial Assembly Solutions has appointed Torque Solutions as a distributor for its Smart Connected Bolting technology portfolio.
The new partnership further strengthens Atlas Copco’s presence in the energy industry and the expanding wind power generation segment in particular. Alongside renewables, Sheffield-based Torque Solutions has a well-established reputation across a range of industries and sectors, including quarrying, oil and gas, as well as heavy industry.
Torque Solutions holds extensive stock of Atlas Copco bolting products, available for both purchase and hire. Torque Solutions also offers customers a complete aftersales package covering service, repair, calibration and certification, all of which is fully supported by Atlas Copco’s tool maintenance and optimisation expertise.

Torque Solutions offers the full range of Atlas Copco bolting products, including Tensor Revo transducerised electric nutrunners, hydraulic torque tools, tensioners and pumps, as well as specialist hydraulic products. Tools such as the Tensor Revo HA are specifically designed for the installation and maintenance of wind turbines, that demand high accessibility, faster tightening and full traceability. Delivering a tightening performance of up to 8,000Nm, the Tensor Revo HA’s DC electric motor is the fastest on the market by a factor of up to six times. The high torque nutrunner also features an integrated transducer, which measures torque applied to the joint.
