2019 Mclaren 600 LT


The Dietz family has been active and competitive in straight line drag racing for easily 30 years and that will continue but Darren decided that going around some curves would also be fun so he added this 3.8L V8 twin turbo 2019 Mclaren 600 LT to the race fleet. The car weighs in at around 3000 pounds and with it’s available 600 horsepower it can do 0-60 in under 3 seconds and has a top speed of over 200 mp/h. It will also do the 1/4 mile in 10.4 seconds. The titanium exhaust vents out through what would normally be the trunk lid on most other cars. The sound is very impressive and very in your face. In so many ways, this car is the best of both worlds with excellent street manners and driving characteristics but its also a completely capable legitimate race car. On the track this car can deliver up over a “G” of force under acceleration and in the corner’s. G’s are addictive. Remember when you were a kid and they had those metal merry-go-rounds in the park, people would spin them so fast you couldn’t get off. It’s way better than that. A lot of people really like the feeling of thrust when a commercial air liner takes off and that’s less than a 1/2 “G” just to give you some perspective.
