ALUCAST, Produces Some of the Largest Al and Mg Castings in Czech Republic


A


LUCAST is based in the Czech Republic – 60 km southeast of Brno – and was founded in 2000


by five partners. Two partners, Jarmil Cileček and František


Šmatelka, had


many years of experience in the field of investment casting and applied their know how to the company. The other three partners brought the necessary capital.


All shareholders considered the


technology of “lost wax” i.e. investment casting for the Al castings to be a great challenge and also opportunity, especially in the area of technical development. Jarmil Cileček managed the


company from its foundation until 2018 and, as a visionary and expert in the field of investment casting,

always directed the company towards the production of highly demanding castings for use in sophisticated fields. From 2018, František Šmatelka has been the managing director of ALUCAST. ALUCAST is the largest producer


of precision Al and Mg castings in the Czech Republic using the investment casting technology. ALUCAST precision aluminium castings are used in a number of fields, such as aerospace, transport, medical, leisure, defense and other industries. At the moment, ALUCAST exports castings to all EU countries, the USA, Canada, Israel, India, South Africa, Ukraine and other countries. Especially castings for the aircraft industry are subject to high requirements that ALUCAST is able to meet thanks to its own development, which is focused
