Who do we work with?
We typically work with high growth companies from start-ups to established businesses. For example, toob Limited (“toob”) a brand new full fi bre broadband provider, has selected Smith & Williamson to provide full fi nancial outsourcing services. The south coast based business recently secured a huge investment of £75m.
We provide a full fi nancial outsourcing service, including statutory accounts, monthly management reporting and tax compliance. toob will invest £50m in Southampton to deliver the city’s fastest broadband service over a full fi bre network as an alternative to the city’s current copper-based infrastructure, meaning that
residents and businesses will benefi t from download speeds 20 times faster than the UK average. toob is led by an experienced management team of telecommunications professionals, and aims to deploy its network to more than 1 million premises over the next 10 years.
Accounting software support
Many of our clients come to us using outdated accounting software that is no longer fi t for purpose. We specialise in supporting these businesses to select the most appropriate portfolio of software and integrated applications that meet their needs today and in the future.
With so many accounting software platforms now available it is vitally important that businesses pick the right software package as this will help to save time and money. Moving to real-time fi nancial management will enable businesses to be more agile in making strategic decisions.
