Two Promoted In Professional Services


B&L Information Systems is proud to announce several promotions within the Professional Services department, which


specializes in ERP project


implementation and spearheads all Odyssey training. DJ Medlin has been promoted to Business Consultant in the Professional Services department. DJ has been with B&L since 2007 when she joined the company as a Support Consultant. In 2013, DJ became part of the Professional Services department where she oversees training, performs training and makes “best practice” recommendations for Odyssey software. Before joining B&L, she held various positions in metalcasting companies where she used B&L’s original ERP, BLIS, in roles including IT, scheduling, customer service, shipping, tool and inventory management. Marcia Mullins has been


promoted to Business Consultant in the Professional Services department. Marcia joined B&L in 2007 on the Customer Support Desk and became part of the Professional Services department in early 2013 where she focuses on Odyssey’s finance modules. Prior to joining B&L, Marcia spent over 20 years in the manufacturing sector as a financial administrator where she oversaw the installation of various ERP systems, created processes, and trained accounting staff. “These promotions align titles with

DJ has been a B&L software expert since her days as a client when she presented on core ERP functions at Spectrum, B&L’s annual users’ conference. I am proud of the work both DJ and Marcia have done with customers.”


Thomas (Tom) joined KCI as Director of Operations in December 2014. In January 2020, Tom will step into the role of President of KCI, as Doug Kovatch becomes Chairman of the Board of Directors. Tom is a proven leader with 38 years of experience in the investment casting industry. Early in his career, he spent 17 years in various engineering and manufacturing positions (for 4 different foundries) working in a range of functional areas, including Lab Tech, Product Engineer, Process Engineer, Production Manager and Plant Manager. He moved to the supplier side of the industry and spent 16+ years working for several different wax suppliers. He oversaw the construction, startup and operation of M. Argueso Inc.’s first wholly owned subsidiary, Cerita West LLC in Tempe. Tom then joined Kindt-Collins LLC where he held the position of President and COO. During his tenure at Kindt- Collins, annual sales tripled and he played an integral role in the sale of Kindt-Collins LLC to Paramelt BV. Post-acquisition, he spent 4 years at Paramelt as its VP of Sales and Global Casting Wax Business Manager. Tom studied Aerospace Engineering at the University of Michigan and Mechanical Engineering at Illinois Institute of Technology.
