A group of logistics operators, forwarders and other shippers has set up a new group to meet the challenges posed by Brexit at the end of the year, warning that the UK will face a serious shortage in customs know-how when it leaves the European Union at the end of the year. The Customs Clearance
Consortium (CCC) has been created as a joint venture by
the Oakland Invicta arm of food logistics company Oakland International and Robert Hardy, who formerly worked for Dover customs clearance agent, Motis.
