Digital Edge are proud to offer an industry first. The company have a team of hand picked specialists who have created an even better DVR product. And they have now housed it in a laptop.


Digital Edge supplies the oil and gas industry with their digital video recording system. The company, established more than 10 years ago has nurtured strong customer relationships which have allowed for honest customer feedback, which has been incorporated into the development of the new Version 5 Edge DVR.


The 3 levels of Version 5 follow the Digital Edge mandate of being simple to use and most of all, reliable.


EdgeLite software is the most basic of their recording systems and is an


entry level unit. Suitable when there is no requirement for eventing and will record 4 channel video overlay. Clients range in size and come from all over the world, and this product has been developed to provide their smaller clients with the same great recording capability at a fraction of the cost.


The Edge is their mid range system and allows for the recording of 4 HD channels simultaneously. Eventing, work packs and offline editing are all included features.


EdgePro has further features including an extended database that allows tasks to be assigned to components under inspection.


All versions are available on the laptop, which comes in its own custom peli case. Ideal for customers


Tekmar Energy Secures Double Award for Danish Krieger’s Flak Offshore Wind Farm


Tekmar Energy Limited, a Tekmar Group Company, is delighted to announce contract awards from Global Marine Group and JDR Cables for the supply of TekLink® cable protection systems and cable hang-off assemblies for Danish Krieger’s Flak Offshore Wind Farm (DKF).


DKF is a 600 MW wind farm under construction in the Baltic sea. Once in full production it will be Denmark’s largest offshore wind farm and increase the country’s yearly electricity production from wind by 18%, powering roughly 600,000 homes.


Tekmar Energy has been selected by Global Marine Group to supply


150 patented TekLink® Mechanical Latch cable protection systems to protect the subsea array cables as they interact with the monopile foundations from the seabed to surface. Additionally, Tekmar Energy has been chosen by JDR Cables to supply 151 patented sealed hang-off clamps to secure the cables at the top of the foundations.


Russell Edmondson, Managing Director of Tekmar Energy said: “We are pleased to be working with Global Marine Group and JDR Cables on DKF. All three companies have bases in the North East of England, so this project is a great showcase for the UK supply chain and its leading position in the delivery and installation of subsea array cable systems.”
